About Jue
Providing virtual and in-person therapy in Burnaby BC, by the Metrotown area, Jue Wang is a registered clinical counsellor under BCACC and a Canadian Certified Counsellor under CCPA. She brings in-depth experience in individual and couples counselling. She is experienced in working with trauma, relationship issues, acculturalization experiences, and grief counselling.
Her training in Gottman Therapy, Sex Therapy and Adlerian Therapy makes her uniquely able to help individuals and couples in both heterosexual and LGBTQ+ communities find and voice their identities and navigate an empowering path to becoming their true selves. She is a culturally competent, anti-oppressive, and human-centred therapist. She draws experiences and knowledge from existential-humanistic and emotionally focused approaches that create empowering and self-directive collaborative work.
She believes that you are making one step toward wellness the moment you reach out. So she welcomes you to book a free consultation with her to learn more. Deciding to start therapy is hard; being vulnerable with a stranger takes enormous courage. She witnessed countless transformations that people were going through, either inside or outside her profession and knows how to use therapy to help people make this transformation happen. As an Asian-origin female therapist, she works with clients to navigate life through their unique perspectives. Our intersectionalities are our strength and resilience. No matter what you are struggling with, healing is possible. And love is the way.
She has worked in customer-focused industries, including retail and personal care. Jue has working experience with individuals struggling with disabilities and societal alienation. Jue strives to be an enabler in helping her clients to navigate from difficult situations to hopeful ones.
