About Grace
Grace is a Master of Clinical Counseling student at the University of the Cumberlands, dedicated to helping individuals navigate and overcome challenges related to trauma, identity, self-image, anxiety, and depression. She is passionate about empowering her clients to discover their potential and achieve their goals. One of Grace's core beliefs is the importance of stepping into wholeness and being authentic and congruent with who you are. She primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and embraces a holistic approach to healing, recognizing the significant role spirituality plays in mental health.
As an immigrant, Grace is particularly committed to assisting individuals in navigating and solidifying their unique cultural identities, beliefs, and values. Fluent in both Mandarin and English, she connects effectively with a diverse clientele. Before transitioning to the mental health field, Grace spent over a decade in the financial industry, where she provided financial counsel, wealth planning, and education to a varied group of clients. This experience sharpened her skills in active listening, asking insightful questions, and meeting clients where they are.
Grace's previous volunteer work in war-torn countries, where she supported individuals facing poverty and trauma, has given her a deep understanding of cultural differences and taught her valuable lessons in compassion, hope, humility, and cultural sensitivity. In her free time, Grace enjoys watching documentaries, exploring nature, and traveling. Her journeys have taken her to Japan, Australia, Greece, Turkey, Dubai, and Uganda, enriching her perspective and appreciation for diverse cultures.
